Where Does Your Giving Go?

One of the distinctives of the Southern Baptist Convention is the Cooperative Program giving. Here's how it works:

1. The Giver Gives to the Local Church

Your generous donations start right here at Spring Creek Baptist Church.

2. The Church's Distribution

The church gives usually 10% of money collected to the local association (Northeast Baptist Association) and the State Convention (Nevada Baptist Convention). The church uses the other 90% for its operating expenses and ministries.

3. Northeast Baptist Association (NeBA)

NeBA uses this money for operating expenses, helping support and train local churches in their mission and ministry needs, including Pastor/Church support for many very small churches in rural settings, the annual Women's Conference and the annual NeBA Conference!

4. Nevada Baptist Convention (NBC)

NBC sends a portion, from 10% to 50%, onto the Southern Baptist Convention! NBC uses the rest for operating expenses, training and providing resources for the state and local church as well!

5. Southern Baptist Convention (SBC)

The offerings SBC receives support North American Missionaries and International Missionaries (which is the largest Evangelical Mission field with over 4000 missionaries) all over the world, 6 Seminaries, the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission (a legal counsel representing and defending the ethics and freedom of not only SBC but all religious groups as their actions affect all religious groups), Guidestone Financial Resources, Lifeway Christian Resources, Women's Missionary Union and of course the SBC operation needs!

Through this cooperative system, your giving at Spring Creek Baptist Church has a global impact, supporting missions, education, and religious freedom around the world.
